Eastgardens is a small, busy suburb about 9km from the Sydney CBD in Bayside Council, home to 4,086 people at the 2021 Census. It takes its name from Westfield Eastgardens, which opened in 1987 on the corner of Wentworth Avenue and Bunnerong Road.
The suburb was originally part of Pagewood and Hillsdale, and the shopping centre site was once a government bus depot and a Holden car manufacturing plant.

Getting here from Eastgardens
From Westfield Eastgardens, head west along Wentworth Avenue towards Botany. Mutch Park is at number 53.
From Westfield Eastgardens onto Wentworth Avenue, a few stops towards Mascot. On the way back, "Mutch Park, Wentworth Ave" is the stop right before Westfield Eastgardens.
